Joining its feature-phone-made-pro-by-adding-Windows-Mobile brother the Matrix Pro (see full review), AT&T has taken the lid of the Samsung Propel Pro, as expected. It will be available on April 14th for $149.99 after contract. You’re looking at a Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard device with a slide-down QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, and 3G for data.

Samsung is never one to be a wallflower at CTIA, but this year it arrived in Las Vegas with all cylinders firing. On Monday, two full days before the show began, Samsung announced not only the Propel Pro, but also its new Impression SGH-A877 and Magnet SGH-A257. Both offer full keyboards for messaging and e-mail.

The Samsung Impression will be “the nation’s first commercially available AMOLED (active-matrix organic light-emitting diode) screen” which provides one of the brightest and clearest displays. Not much more information has been made available, so stay tuned as we will update as soon as possible.

The good: The Nokia 6301 has a simple, easy-to-use design with a brilliant display and well-designed navigation controls. Its functional feature set includes Wi-Fi for VoIP calling, and its call quality is top-notch.
The badThe bad: The 6301’s microSD card and headset jack are in inconvenient places. It has poor photo quality as well.
